Private Advanced ChiRunning Class: Build on your foundation!

Session contents:

  • Body Sensing
  • Additional technique drills
  • Learning to Use your Gears – using the different speeds while conserving energy
  • Uphill and Downhill Techniques
  • Pelvic Rotation
  • Post-run Stretches
  • Plus --- video gait analysis -- learn from seeing yourself

These sessions are for those that have taken ChiRunning workshops and would like to enhance their knowledge of the technique ($75/hr). You may book an appointment by contacting Ann Margaret via email.



Private Introductory ChiWalking Class: Start walking with ease of movement!

Session contents:

  • Avoiding common form-related walking injuries
  • Aligning your posture with gravity and reducing muscle effort
  • Walking smoothly by lifting rather than pushing off with your feet
  • Effective arm swings for different walking speeds
  • Your most effective stride length
  • Optimal cadences for different walking speeds
  • Relaxing while walking
  • Techniques for hills
  • Pre-walk body looseners and post-walk stretches
  • Video Gait Analysis -- learn from seeing yourself

The initial session will run approx 1 1/2 hours ($125). These sessions are for any type of walker: strollers to power walkers.
